I can't believe it's already August! But that's how it goes and I'm happy it doesn't go too slow, can you imagine? Anyway, since I live in the Netherlands and the weather is constantly having mood changes, I decided to use all the twigs and sticks that various storms have blown away to decorate an old glass. Although it takes quite long to get all the sticks stuck onto the glass, the result is incredibly rewarding!
You will need:
- An old jar, glass or tin (anything that could hold a plant or a candle)
- Strong Glue
- Small twigs
- String
- A plant or candle
Step 1:
Make sure all the twigs and sticks are at the same height as your pot, you do not want an uneven top. Then line up all the sticks to ensure that the shapes and thicknesses are evenly spread.

Take each stick and start gluing!
