Today, I thought it was time to give my jeans a little upgrade. I had recently purchased these but the small hole in the knee (that was meant to be a little tare) quickly turned into a large rip across the middle of my jeans. So I bought some laced ribbon and sewed it into the gap! Here's how it's done.
You will need:
Step 1:
Place the jeans inside out and place them flat on the table. Since my table is quite small and my jeans kept falling off the side, I decided to keep them secure with a pile of books - this made it easier throughout the sewing process as they were tightly secured.
Step 2:
Choose blue thread so that the colour blends in with the colour of the jeans. I sewed mine very loose and easy but they seem to stay secure.

Step 3:
Cut off the edges of the ribbon, finish the stitches and turn the jeans back to their original state. Now you can wear those babies to death!
