Now that Sinterklaas is over, we've officially started putting up the Christmas decoration. I decided to follow a red and silver theme but that is mainly because the red balls are my absolute favourite!
Light Tip Nr. 1
Before you put the lights in the tree, make sure you plug them in. Nothing is more annoying than going through all the effort of placing into the tree only to find that they were broken all along.
Light Tip Nr. 2
The more light, the better. This Christmas tree contains 3 different sets of lights (my mum is a little obsessed with Christmas lights). We first added one set of small lights to the base of the tree. Then another set of small lights to the top and and another set of big ones all around.

The best way to decorate the tree:
The very first thing I do before I open box is turn on the Christmas songs to full volume, I absolutely love Christmas songs!
I also love to decorate the tree just before it starts to get dark so that the lights look better and better as you continue decorating the tree
